
Large tree kangaroo tree kangaroos in Australia. This is a recluse species living in the remote forests of Queensland. Men can be controversial, and fiercely defend their territory. In the past, they always kill the indigenous people, but due to extensive hunting stopped, its scope expanded. This is an isolated and night animals become active at night, while maintaining the canopy mostly hide during the day.


Males than females, weighing up to 25 - 31 lbs. Women about 17.6-23 lbs. Below it, including its chest, belly and tail, the bottom is black, with a lighter back and shoulders. Its hands and feet are also black. Like other tree kangaroos, and its forelimbs and hind limbs have short kangaroos on the ground.

It inhabits lowland and montane rain forest and individuals are also considered in the sclerophyllous woodland. Tree kangaroos occupy a relatively small and remote areas of northeastern Queensland state, Queensland, the Daintree River north and south.

Similar to other tree kangaroos, tree kangaroos have a slow rate of reproduction. The young spend about 8 months of the pouch. They accompany their mother additional period of up to two years.
